Aims of the Society
The aims of the Society, which was founded in 1943, are:
To preserve historical evidence of buildings, artefacts and documents wherever possible in Jamaica.
To encourage the study of history in Jamaica.
To co-operate closely with other organizations with a similar interest in the history of Jamaica.
